Where are you headquartered? Lucky Mountains Events' co-owners reside in Florida and Delaware, respectively.
How long have you been hosting events? We held our first event in 2017! Royal Book Bash will be held for the sixth time in 2024, and we've also hosted two signings in Cleveland and a virtual writing conference.
How do you select signing authors for your events? Lucky Mountains Events invites all fiction authors with two or more books published to fill out our interest forms. Authors of diverse backgrounds are especially encouraged to apply. For some events, we give priority to local authors or to particular genres. This will be noted on the interest form.
How long does it take to hear back after applying for an event? It really depends on where we are in the process. It could be anywhere from the same day to weeks later. If you don't hear back within a few weeks, you're most likely on our waiting list. Or you can always email us at [email protected] to ask for a status update.
Will signing authors get free tickets to give away? Yes, we give signing authors at least two general admission tickets to give away!
Is there any other way to get free tickets? Lucky Mountains Events supports military, veterans, first responders and teachers. If you belong to any of those groups, please email us at luckymountainsevents.com to receive free general admission tickets to any of our events.
